Agatized fossil coral geode, Tampa Bay, Montastraea annularis.
The collection site was Sixmile Creek in Tampa. This site no longer exists. It was destroyed and reshaped to form the Tampa Bypass Canal in the 1970s.
This fossil coral dates back to the Miocene epoch (25 to 32 million years ago) and formed when fine sediments covered shallow coral reefs. As silica-rich groundwater percolated through the newly formed rock (and was exposed when sea levels dropped), it replaced the coral's calcium carbonate skeleton with chalcedony, which crystallized in the botryoidal habit.

Larger, non-fragile items worth less than €500 are sent via Mondial Relay , Colissimo or Chronopost , as appropriate.
Heavy and fragile objects (minerals, chandeliers, large vases, stained glass windows, paintings, crockery, geodes, etc.) require a prior estimate .
For other countries , shipping is done by La Poste , Colissimo , Chronopost , FedEx or DHL , depending on the weight, format and destination.
