This mid-20th century old galena crystal with micro pyrites and some red sphalerites shows spectacular epitaxial growth (i.e. the oriented growth of a subsequent crystal generation on the first): cuboctahedral crystals on a cubic crystal). Remarkably, this enormous crystal has crystallization faces over its entire surface except on the back where calcite crystals have grown.
