Sulfur

Sulfur is a native element, with the formula S, belonging to the group of native elements. It is distinguished by its bright yellow to pale yellow color, its resinous to vitreous luster, and its often well-formed crystals.

It is mainly formed in volcanic environments and evaporitic deposits, often associated with calcite, gypsum, or pyrite.
