Siderite

Siderite is a mineral from the carbonate group, composed of iron carbonate (FeCO₃). It is characterized by its brown, yellowish-brown, grey, or greenish hues, with a vitreous to pearly luster. It primarily forms in hydrothermal deposits and sedimentary rocks, often associated with calcite, dolomite, or pyrite.
