Morganite

Morganite is a pink to peach variety of beryl, with the chemical formula Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈. Its delicate color, ranging from pale pink to salmon pink and peach, is mainly due to the presence of manganese.

It forms hexagonal crystals, often transparent to translucent, in granitic pegmatites, where it is associated with quartz, feldspar, and tourmaline. Beautiful specimens come notably from Brazil, Madagascar, Pakistan, and Mozambique.
