Garnet

Galena is a mineral composed of lead sulfide (PbS), recognizable by its perfectly formed cubic crystals, its lead-gray color, and its intense metallic luster. As the main ore of lead, it forms in hydrothermal veins, often in association with fluorite, barite, sphalerite, or pyrite.

The finest specimens, particularly from Morocco, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, and Peru, are highly prized by collectors for their geometric crystals, high density, and remarkable luster.
