Fluorapatite

Fluorapatite is a mineral from the apatite group, composed of calcium phosphate with fluorine (Ca₅(PO₄)₃F). It is distinguished by its often well-formed crystals, with varied colors ranging from green, blue, violet, yellow, or pink.

Highly prized by collectors, fluorapatite is sought after for its brilliant crystals and its remarkable associations with quartz, calcite, or sulfides, particularly in deposits in Brazil, Pakistan, Mexico, and Afghanistan.
