Amazonite

Amazonite is a green to blue-green variety of microcline, an alkaline feldspar belonging to the large family of feldspars. Its characteristic color is due to the presence of small amounts of lead associated with defects in the crystal structure, which gives it its unique and easily recognizable appearance.
